Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire will now hit theatres on December 22 and will clash at the box office with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki.

Prabhas’ Salaar is one of the most-awaited movies. His fans, not just in India but across the world are eagerly waiting for the movie. Amid all this, it has now been reported that Salaar’s advance bookings have already been opened in the USA. As reported by E-Times, advance booking for Prabhas starrer is now open in a few cinema halls in America and will begin full-fledged in the coming days.

Interestingly, when Salaar was supposed to hit theatres on September 28 this year, makers had already opened its advance bookings in the international markets. Reportedly, back then, makers had sold over 13,000 tickets in the USA and had collected Rs 3 crore from advance bookings, but the film was then postponed.

Salaar is an upcoming cinematic spectacle that marks the first collaboration of the KGF director Prashanth Neel and Baahubali star Prabhas. Salaar will reportedly be a revenge thriller with high-level action sequences. The story is about a gangster’s condition of taking on a criminal squad to fulfil the promise he made to his dying friend. Shruti Hassan will be seen opposite Prabhas playing the lead female and Malayalam superstar Prithvi Raj Sukumaran will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the movie.

Recently, reports claimed that the Prabhas starrer is likely to get postponed once again. It all started after E-Times reported that the makers of Salaar are planning to postpone its release to avoid a box office clash with SRK’s Dunki. However, it should be noted that the makers are now planning to release Salaar trailer on December 1, which has left everyone convinced that the film will not be postponed again.

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire will now hit theatres on December 22 and will clash at the box office with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in key roles.
