Chandrachur Singh seemingly reacted to Salman Khan claiming the former rejected Kuch Kuch Hota Hai despite having nothing to do.

Chandrachur Singh seems to have accused Salman Khan of lying after he claimed that Chandrachur rejected Kuch Kuch Hota Hai despite not having work. Last week, a video surfaced from Koffee With Karan in which Karan Johar confessed he reached out to several stars for the second lead role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. This included Saif Ali Khan and Chandrachur Singh. Salman, who was the guest on the show, eventually agreed to do the film.

Speaking about the struggle to find a second lead, Karan said, “I remember the first time I ever came to your zone to narrate my first film to you. Saif and Chandrachur had said no to the role. And you said that no one’s going to do your role, you come and meet me tomorrow.”

Salman explained, “It was not difficult for you to get a Shah Rukh Khan in the film but it was very difficult for you to get this casting (Aman) because Saif at that point of time was doing nothing. Chandrachur was doing nothing. Even they refused it. I did it, Karan. I saw talent, I saw genius in you. And after that you never worked with me.”

A Reddit user claimed that Chandrachur reacted to Salman’s claims in the video. They shared a screenshot of his alleged comments in which Chandrachur was seen calling Salman a liar. “Jhoot Salman Ka,” read the comment. When a fan asked him what the lie was, the actor explained that he wasn’t jobless like Salman claimed. “Mere paas Josh, Daag The Fire, Kya Kehna, Silsila Hai Pyaar Ka, etc. This. I made a choice.” However, soon Chandrachur deleted his comment.
