Kartik Aaryan is one of the most popular Bollywood actors of this generation. After starring in several hit films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Satyaprem Ki Prem Katha, he will next be seen in Chandu Champion. However, last year, he revealed that despite his success, he still gets pocket money from his mother and she handles his finances.
Kartik told Film Companion, “My mother handles my money. I don’t know how much money there is in my account or if there is any money or not… I wanted to buy a car on my birthday, but mummy refused, saying that there is no money. She said maybe next year or sometime later, but, ‘Abhi nahi le sakte (You cannot buy right now)’. I have no option but to believe what my mother tells me, because I don’t even know where to check how much money I have, I don’t know kaunsa (which) account hai (it is).”
He added, “She just doesn’t want me to get spoilt. She thinks I can still get spoilt. I have lived my life where I spent more than my earnings. So, I think she is used to that idea and she doesn’t like it. She has decided isko pocket money mein hi rakho, usme sudhra rahega (She gives me pocket money to keep me in check).” Kartik’s revelation had shocked his fans.
Meanwhile, as for Chandu Champion, he has finally wrapped up the shoot. The actor took to his social media to announce the wrap-up but there was a catch. On the last day of the shoot, Kartik Aaryan tasted his favourite sweet Rasmalai. He called it a victory. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Kartik will now begin preparing for the third instalment of the Bhool Bhulaiya franchise.
