India’s shooting star Manu Bhaker scripted history by winning two bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Upon her arrival in India, she was warmly welcomed by the people. She gained massive fame after her marvellous performance on the global stage. Recently, the star shooter visited Chennai, where she was honoured at an event organised by a private educational institution in Nolambur.
At the same event, she was asked about a South actor, who holds a massive fanbase. She was seen smiling while talking about the actor. The video was widely shared on social media platforms creating a buzz among the fans.
Following the felicitation event, Manu Bhaker answered questions from students and the media. During this session, she was asked about the famous actor Thalapathy Vijay. Her response to the question surprised everyone. At first, she was asked about prominent figures, including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. The ace shooter seemed unaware of the names as she shook her head. However, when she was asked about Thalapathy Vijay she gave a big smile and mentioned, “He’s a darling.” Manu Bhaker surprised everyone present at the event with her response. As soon as she answered, the audience present there cheered at their loudest.

At the event, Manu Bhaker was honoured by a Tamil Nadu association on August 20, for her remarkable achievement of winning double medals in shooting at the Paris Olympics. She received a cash prize in recognition of her historic feat. The shooter became the first woman athlete to win two medals at one single Olympics. She won bronze medals in both Mixed 10m Air Pistol and Women’s 10m Air Pistol events. She also secured fourth place in the Women’s 25m air pistol event.
Talking about Thalapathy Vijay, the actor-turned-politician is presently busy with his upcoming film The Greatest of All Time, which is expected to hit the theatres on September 5. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film features several popular actors like Prashanth, Yogi Babu, Prabhu Deva and Ajmal Ameer.
