He has appeared in more than 1000 films in the south Indian film industry. The name of that comedian is Kanneganti Brahmanandan. He is also well known for performing the longest stand-up comedy routine. He is considered one of richest comedians in India. His wealth is said to be more than not only Ranbir Kapoor, Prabhas but also superstar Rajnikanth. Currently, he holds the Guinness world Record for the most screen credits as a living actor. In 2009, he was also honoured with the Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema.

This comedian not only worked in Telugu films, but also Tamil and Kannada films throughout his career. According to media reports, he takes home a monthly salary exceeding Rs 2 crore for his projects.

Much before comedy king Kapil Sharma came into the picture, Brahmanandan started his career. He made his debut in the 1987 release Aha Naa Pellanta as Ara Gundu and on working in many superhit blockbusters including Money, Anna, Anaganaga Oka Roju, venky, Race Gurram, Adhurs, Attarintiki Daaredi and so on. He has also worked in the recently released Kalki along with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. Throughout his career, he had captivated the audience with his comedy.
