Tamil Film Producer Mohan Natarajan Passes Away At 71 Due To Illness
Veteran Tamil film producer and actor Mohan Natarajan died around 10:30 pm on September 3 in Chennai due to age-related health issues.

Veteran Tamil film producer and actor Mohan Natarajan breathed his last on September 3 around 10.30 pm in Chennai due to age-related health issues. His body will be at his Saligramam home for public viewing and last respects until 12 noon. He will be cremated in Tiruvottiyur, Chennai, after 3 pm on September 4. Mohan Natarajan produced many well-known films like Kannukkul Nilavu with Vijay, Deiva Thirumagal with Vikram, Aalwar with Ajith Kumar, and Vel with Suriya. He was a respected senior producer in Tamil cinema.

Mohan Natarajan also acted as a villain in many Tamil films, including Namma Annachi, Sakkaraithevan, and Mahanadhi. He started his producing career with Pookalai Parikadheergal in 1986 under his banner, Sri Rajakaliamman Enterprises. His last co-production was Deiva Thirumagal with Chiyaan Vikram. He had stepped back from films in recent years due to health issues.

Pookalai Parikadheergal, which he co-produced with Tharangai V. Shanmugam, was directed by V. Azhagappan, it starred Suresh and Nadhiya. He also produced En Thangachi Padichava, which had a successful 100-day run, featuring Prabhu, Rupini, and Chithra. Mohan acted as a villain in Enga Annan Varattum (1989) and appeared in Kottai Vaasal and Velai Kidaichiruchu.

One of Natarajan’s key collaborations was with Chiyaan Vikram, famous for his strong performances. Vikram, known for films like Sethu and Anniyan, frequently worked with Natarajan. Their notable project featured Vikram playing twin brothers, showcasing his acting skills and reinforcing his status as a leading actor.
