The updated Gmail app now supports all email providers, which means you can now set up a separate inbox for, say, your Yahoo Mail or Outlook.com addresses using POP/IMAP.

New Delhi: Google has updated its Gmail app for Android with a new look and a few other handy improvements. The updated Gmail app has not yet made its way to the Google India Play Store. Google is rolling out the redesigned app in a phased manner, and is expected to be available for users in India over the next few days .

As part of the new design, Google has added a convenient reply button at the bottom of every message. According to the company, it has been done to make it quick and easy to continue a conversation when you are on the go.

"If you access the app on your Android tablet, you'll notice it's easier to switch between accounts and the different inbox categories," says Google in a blogpost.

The updated Gmail app now supports all email providers, which means you can now set up a separate inbox for, say, your Yahoo Mail or Outlook.com addresses using POP/IMAP.

The redesigned Gmail app will support all Android 4.0+ devices.
