Gurgaon: After making the mediapersons wait for hours for their first glimpse, newly-married couple Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, who tied the knot on Tuesday, came hand-in-hand only to make an appearance that lasted for a few seconds.
A crowd of sorts -- including locals and mediapersons -- had gathered outside Hotel Trident here, where the duo was slated to make an appearance after their wedding, which took place at a Delhi farmhouse.
"Thank you," the 34-year-old actor said while interacting with the mediapersons.
While Shahid wore a sherwani designed by Kunal Rawal, Mira opted for a light pink and silver embroidered lehenga and decided to wear minimal makeup. She sported an elaborate Navratna neckpiece and earrings set, and teamed her look with a 'maang-tika' and a 'jhoomar' on the side of her head.
Shahid and Mira's wedding ceremony was attended by close family members and only a few friends. Shahid and Mira got engaged earlier this year. If reports are anything to go by, they met at a 'satsang' as both their families are followers of the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas.
