'Sarbjit' first look: Aishwarya Rai wears minimal makeup, Randeep Hooda looks intense

The much awaited look of Aishwarya Rai and Randeep Hooda in 'Sarabjit' is finally unveiled. Needless to say, it sure seems gripping by the look of it. While Randeep is playing the titular character of Sarabjit, Aishwarya will be seen as Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur.

In the snaps shared on social media, Aishwarya Rai is seen sitting on a desk while she's writing something. Wearing a simple salwar-kameez, she seems to be lost in the world of her own fighting a battle probably for her brother's justice. Randeep Hooda is seen sporting a smile on his face amidst all the colours around.

Directed by Omung Kumar, the film revolves around the life of Sarabjit Singh, who was an Indian national convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court. After the repeated postponing of his death sentence by the Government of Pakistan, he was attacked by his fellow inmates in the jail itself. The film that is slated to release on May 19 also features Richa Chadha in a pivotal role.
