Mirzapur 3: Rasika Dugal Gives UPDATE On Release Date, Says 'Audience Will Soon Get To...'
Rasika Dugal said that she's very happy that she did Mirzapur season 3 and is excited for the audience to watch it.

Fans of Amazon Prime Video’s crime drama Mirzapur were desperately waiting for the third season of the successful show. Earlier last month, the show’s cast appeared at a special event and announced that their show would be released very soon. Cast members like Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal and Shweta Tripathi among others were present at the event. Now, Rasika Dugal has spoken about what makes the franchise a hit among the audience.

“It’s lovely to have the adulation, and the fan following that Mirzapur has, it is very beautiful to have it in my life, the loyalty is very strong for the show. I’m very happy that we’ve done season 3 and audiences will soon get to watch it. I’m very excited for them,” Rasika Dugal told PTI.

“I believe Mirzapur has a fan following because people are really invested in the characters. It’s not about the snazziness of the show. It’s about people’s connection to that character, and we’ve already done that, and we do that work every season. We’ve done it to the best of our abilities this season too,” the actress added.

The plot of the show revolves around the iron-fisted Akhandanand Tripathi – a millionaire carpet exporter and the mafia don of Mirzapur – and his son Munna, an unworthy, power-hungry heir who will stop at nothing to inherit his father’s legacy. All hell breaks loose when a wedding procession forces him to cross paths with Ramakant Pandit, an upstanding lawyer, and his sons, Guddu and Bablu. Much like its predecessors, the third season of Mirzapur was also shot across Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow and Jaunpur.

After the massive success of the first two seasons of the show, fans are now eagerly awaiting for the makers to reveal the release date of the third season, which will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
