Kay Kay Menon is one of the most accomplished actors in the country who has breathed life into his characters. Born as Krishna Kumar Menon, he has predominantly worked in Hindi cinema but has also contributed to Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi and Telugu film industries. On October 2, he celebrated his 57th birthday. He is known for his powerful acting and versatility, garnering immense fame and love from the audience. Known for starring in notable works like Black Friday, Deewar, Sarkar, Shaurya, Haider and Baby, Kay Kay Menon made his mark in the industry and established himself as a star performer. While born in Kerala, he completed his education in Pune, pursued his MBA in Mumbai and started his career in an advertising company. However, he was not happy with his job and decided to join a theatre production which paved the path for him in the entertainment industry.

He secured his first break opposite Naseerudding Shah in the drama Mahatma Vs Gandhi. Reportedly, he began considering the veteran actor as his Guru and continued his journey. In 1995, he landed a small role in the film Naseem. He has worked in TV shows, films and web series as well. A few of his other works are Baby, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Ghazi Attack, and Life In a Metro. He has also starred in various TV shows like Rishtey – Ward No. 6, Pradhan Mantri, Time Bomb 9/11 and Yudh.

He marked his debut on OTT with ALTBalaji’s The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family. He has starred in other OTT shows like Special OPS, Farzi and The Railway Men. In 2024, he was seen in JioCinema’s Shekhar Home, inspired by the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Zee5’s Murshid. He will be next seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny, an Indian spy action television series and spin-off of the American series Citadel, on Amazon Prime Video. It was created and directed by Raj & DK. The duo have also co-wrote the series with Sita Menon. It will star Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead.
