Former One Direction (1D) singer Liam Payne died on October 16 after he fell from the balcony of his hotel in Argentina. The 31-year-old singer made his debut in the music industry with British boy band One Direction, alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. The band was put together and mentored by Simon Cowell on The X Factor UK in 2010. The five-membered group released five albums before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2016.

Following the break, Liam decided to pursue a solo career. He released many songs over the course of time, but his debut single, Strip That Down, remained a fan favourite.
