Kathryn Hahn On Agatha Harkness' Future Marvel Cinematic Universe Crossover
Starring Kathryn Hahn in the lead role, Agatha All Along is ready to premiere next month on Disney Plus.

Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness is set to weave new magic with her highly anticipated return as the fan-favourite witch. Marvel’s WandaVision spinoff, Agatha All Along, is set to debut on Disney Plus Hotstar this September, just in time for some early Halloween vibes! As the premiere date approaches, Kathryn Hahn shared insights about her character and even teased the possibility of an MCU crossover for Agatha Harkness.

In a recent conversation with Rolling Stone, Hahn opened up about the idea of Agatha Harkness’s possible appearance in upcoming MCU films like Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. She emphasised that such an appearance would only happen if it was deemed “necessary” and “juicy.”

Sharing her thoughts on Agatha’s future course with the Marvel Universe, she added, “So, who knows? The craziest, most perfect, side-door entrance to this world is to be a witch. It feels wicked step-sister-y. And I really like it like that.”

Despite her comments, Kathryn Hahn also clarified that Agatha should not be viewed as merely a side character. “I was going to say, who are you calling a side character? That’s definitely a tricky thing. But from the beginning, we always joked that it would just be so annoying to Agatha Harkness that she wouldn’t have her own fricking show,” she added.

More About The WandaVision Spinoff Series

Agatha All Along is expected to follow the journey of Agatha Harkness as she travels down the fabled Witches’ Road to reclaim her powers. Besides Kathryn Hahn, it also stars Joe Locke, Ali Ahn, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp and Patti LuPone.

“The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps her break free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road,” the official synopsis reads.

It is set to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar with two episodes on September 18. A trailer was recently unveiled, dropping an interesting connection to Wanda Maximoff.
