Kartik Aaryan has captured the limelight for a long time with his last released film Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan. Chandu Champion received positive reviews from the audience and also won him the award for Best Performance (male). He received this award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024. Despite the film being an average box-office grosser, audiences have appreciated Kartik’s acting in this film as one of the best performances of his career. After being released in cinema halls on June 14, Chandu Champion is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Kartik enacted the role of India’s first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar in this film. The 33-year-old actor wrote It’s been an incredible journey, and he couldn’t have done it without the support of Kabir sir and Sajid sir. He added that they believed in her every step of the way. Kartik added that his fans have given him unwavering love and encouragement. He said that this has fueled him throughout these two challenging years. “This is for all of us”, Kartik Aaryan concluded this post with this line.
Chandu Champion revolves around the inspiring life of Murlikant Petkar, a boxer. His life turned upside down after he got paralysed due to an injury during the 1965 Indo-Pakistan War. Despite the severe injuries, Petkar didn’t give up. He recovered and went on to become India’s first Paralympic gold medallist in swimming.
Kartik Aaryan will next play the male lead in the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee. This film will be released at the box office on November 12, 2024. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz and others in important roles.
