Kartik Aaryan has given a shout-out to the two women who have played a big role in his success — his mother and sister. During a chat with his fans while promoting his upcoming movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, in Indore, the actor said, “In my case, it’s my mother and sister,” when asked about the people who have played a big role in his success.
The actor also dropped some hints about what’s in store for the spooky-comedy saga, making it clear that this time around things are about to get a whole lot scarier.
“There are many elements that set this instalment apart from the previous two. In this new chapter, the audience will witness more intense horror elements. Veteran actresses Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit will be part of the third part — just their names add glamour to the film,” Kartik added.
Kartik didn’t hold back and shared even more exciting details. He said that some elements from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be carried over into this instalment, but most of the film will feature a brand-new storyline filled with unexpected twists and turns.
Taking a moment to reflect on his rollercoaster journey in the industry, Kartik Aaryan acknowledged the many ups and downs of film life, emphasising that overcoming struggles is essential for forging one’s path. He recounted his journey from his debut film, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and then added that it was Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that marked a significant turning point for him, as it was around this time that audiences began to recognise him by name.
On a more personal note, Kartik couldn’t help but gush about his roots. “I am very proud to be from Madhya Pradesh and visiting Indore always feels like home since many of my cousins live here. I brought my mother along this time and we plan to visit a few places together in the city,” he shared.
When it comes to comparisons with Akshay Kumar’s iconic role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Kartik Aaryan approached the subject with humility. He said, “I don’t understand why people compare Akshay sir’s role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1 to mine in part 2. There can be no comparison between the two of us. He is a senior actor and his approach to acting is entirely different.”
As Diwali approaches, fans can expect an epic box office face-off between Singham 3 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, but Kartik isn’t worried. “The clash won’t affect either film. Both are needed for the audience to fully enjoy the Diwali festival. No one will miss out on watching these films,” he said confidently.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 releases in theatres November 1.
