Isha Malviya’s latest music video titled ‘Paon Ki Jutti’ is ruling social media and has surpassed 20 million views in less than a month of its release. Recently, the Bigg Boss 17 fame actress also opened up about the song’s success and shared that it is being widely loved by all because it depicts the story of women’s independence and empowerment.
“A few of my reels garnered 20 million views in less than 24 hours. I feel grateful, especially because one of the rhymes from the song ‘Thara Paisa, Thari Daulat, Thari Gaadi, Thara Naam’ is going viral like wildfire. It feels incredibly nice. Interestingly, the first viral reel featuring the song was created by a guy from my hometown. It was really shocking for me," she said.
Isha further mentioned that the song’s strong narrative and relatable lyrics played a crucial role in its popularity. “I believe it’s the concept that made the song popular and viral, along with its lyrics. The song truly narrates a story that emphasizes a woman’s independence and her sufficiency when she’s alone. That’s the essence of it," she added.
Paon Ki Jutti is a Punjabi song which is sung by Bunny, Jaani, and Jyoti Nooran. Released in May this year, the song became an instant hit and is ruling reels on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Isha Malviya, who rose to fame with Udaariyaan, was last seen in Bigg Boss 17. In the show, she was seen with her then-boyfriend, Samarth Jurel. However, Isha and Samarth broke up last month.
Samarth confirmed their breakup while speaking to Instant Bollywood and slammed Isha by calling her an opportunist. “Voh actually bohot badi opportunist hai. Uska aisa tha ki, koi bhi event ho raha hai ya koi bhi function ho raha hai toh mujhse baat karne lag jayegi. For example, Holi event tha, humari baat cheet ekdum band thi. Lekin ek din pehle se mujhse baat karne lag gayi ki tu aa raha hai na? Mereko bahaar tak iss liye le gayi kyuki paps khade the, taaki humari spotting ho jaaye. Pata chal jayega logo ko ki hum saath main hai," he said.
Isha Malviya is now reportedly gearing up for her next project — a web series, shooting of which is set to commence soon.
