Ilayaraja, Sarath Kumar, Radhika, Sivakarthikeyan Reach Polling Booths To Vote in Lok Sabha Elections

Acclaimed singer Ilayaraja and Tamil actors Sarath Kumar, Radhika Sarath Kumar and Sivakarthikeyan stepped out to cast their votes in Chennai as part of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The first phase of seven-phase voting began on April 19, Friday. Tamil Nadu is among the first states to go into voting. In videos surfacing online Ilayaraja, Sarath Kumar, his wife Radhika Sarath Kumar and Sivakarthikeyan were among the many people who stepped out to cast their votes.

In videos shared on X, Sarath Kumar and his wife Radhika made their way to the polling booth in Kotivakam to cast their votes. Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan also stepped out with his wife to cast his vote in Chennai. On the other hand, Ilayaraja was seen casting his vote in T. Nagar. The cameras also spotted director Vetrimaaran at a polling booth, casting his vote. See videos and photos below:

Rajinikanth and Ajith Kumar have also completed their voting duties. After casting his vote, Rajinikanth spoke to the media and urged everyone to cast their vote. He said that there is no pride is saying that you have not voted. He added that it is a duty of a citizen to vote and urged everyone to cast their vote.

Meanwhile, Ajith was seen at the polling booth in Thiruvanmiyur to cast his vote. It is reported that the actor reached the polling booth at 6:40 am and waited until the polling booth opened at 7 am. Dressed in white, Ajith was seen casting his vote and even posed for the cameras, showing off his inked finger.
