Hugh Jackman's Wolverine To Return In 2058? Actor Drops Hint
Hugh Jackman shared a short clip, seemingly showing him taking on a new duty as Marvel's Wolverine.

Hugh Jackman’s return as Logan, aka the iconic Wolverine, came as a major treat for all Marvel films, especially after the character’s tragic demise in 2017’s Logan. Jackman teamed up with Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth in Deadpool & Wolverine, which is creating waves at theatres. Jackman’s return as Wolverine has had the very effect that Marvel anticipated. While fans thought it might be the last time they saw their favourite Adamantium-clawed superhero, it seems like the actor is not going anywhere.

In Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds’ Deadpool once could be seen telling Logan that he will do this till he is 90, given that Jackman had already said that he wouldn’t return after 2017. With the film filled with dozens of Easter eggs and meta-references, this could have been a joke. But is it really a joke?

Taking cues from the scene in question, Hugh Jackman has now shared a new video, showing him in new TVA attire with a shocking expression on his face. However, what catches the most attention is Deadpool’s voice repeating over and over, “Til you’re ninety,” until finally Madonna’s Like A Player breaks in. Both his caption and the video further promise to see fans in 2058.

In addition to this, the upcoming Avengers: Secret Ways brings more hope that Jackman might actually continue in the Wolverine role. Besides this part, the film came with many more Easter eggs, leaving fans very curious. One of them was an insight hinting at Deadpool’s possible death in the future. Early in the movie, there is a glimpse at the TVA headquarters, where Chris Hemsworth’s Thor is crying over a rugged and injured Deadpool. While Mr. Paradox did his best to avert Wade Wilson’s attention from it, it seems the makers are also trying to keep it under the wraps.
