It was a fine Thursday morning as people woke up and with beady, blurry eyes and opened their Twitter account only to perhaps choke on their morning coffee reading a tweet by actress Hema Malini.
The veteran actress at 7:16 AM posted a congratulatory tweet to Deepika on her engagement.

Of course, Twitter went into a tizzy with this piece of news. Most people thought the actress was breaking a very important news to the world. That of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's engagement news.
Then followed a series of confused tweets that Hema Malini's followers sent to her.

Three hours later Hema Malini suddenly realized that she had unintentionally dropped a bomb that almost lead to Twitter to breakdown and decided clarify her tweet.

Oh well, so much for the excitement. It was not the same Deepika that we were hoping her to be. Any volunteers for teaching Hema Malini how to tag people on Twitter?
