Singanalluru Puttaswamaiah Muthuraj, better known by his stage name Dr Rajkumar, was an Indian actor and singer active in Kannada cinema. He is considered one of the greatest and most versatile actors in the history of Indian cinema.

1) Daari Tappida Maga

Daari Tappida Maga is an important film for Dr Rajkumar as he played a thief role in this film. In one role, he was a commoner and in the other, he appeared as a thief. Peketi Shivaram directed this film which also stars Aarathi, Manjula, Jayamala and Kalpana. The music by GK Venkatesh won the hearts of the audience. Coming to the performance, Rajkumar stole the show in both roles.

2) Bhale Jodi

Bhale Jodi is a 1970 Indian Kannada-language drama film written and directed by YR Swamy. It features Rajkumar in a dual role and Bharathi and Dinesh in other leading roles. The film is based on the screenplay by Jawar Seetharaman and was produced under the banner of Rajkamal Arts. The film was remade in Telugu in 1972 as Bullema Bullodu, starring Chalam and in Hindi in 1973 as Jaise Ko Taisa. In the film, Rajkumar performed well in both the roles of Ramesh and Suresh.

3) Babruvahana

Babruvahana is a 1977 Indian Kannada-language Hindu mythology film directed by Hunsur Krishnamurthy. The film features Rajkumar in a dual role as Arjuna and his son Babruvahana, the titular character alongside an ensemble cast including B Saroja Devi, Kanchana, Jayamala, Vajramuni, Thoogudeepa Srinivas and Ramakrishna.

4) Nanobba Kalla 

Nanobba Kalla is a 1979 Indian Kannada film directed by Dorai-Bhagavan and produced by actor Shivaram along with his brother S Ramanathan (Rashi Brothers). The film stars Rajkumar and Lakshmi in the lead roles. Rajkumar plays a dual role as father and son and also makes a guest appearance as matinee idol Dr Rajkumar in one scene. It is based on a story written by Chi Udayashankar and MD Sundar.

5) Sathi Shakthi 

Sathi Shakthi is a 1963 Indian Kannada-language film directed and produced by Kanagal Prabhakar Shastry. The film stars Rajkumar, Ramkumar, KS Ashwath and B. Raghavendra Rao. The music is by TG Lingappa. Puttanna Kanagal assisted his brother in the filming. This was the first film in which Rajkumar played a double role in a full-fledged manner.
