Namrata Shirodkar's sister Shilpa Shirodkar is participating in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 18.

Popular 1990s star Shilpa Shirodkar, who is also Namrata Shirodkar’s older sister, is participating in Bigg Boss 18 this year. The actress was seen in films such as Kishen Kanhaiya, Khuda Gawah, Gopi Kishan, Bewafa Sanam and Return of Jewel Thief, to name a few. However, after getting married, she moved out of the industry and country. Shilpa is now using Bigg Boss 18 as a platform to make a comeback to the film industry. While she is ready to talk about her comeback, she is not ready to indulge in her sister’s life.

An India Today report stated that Shilpa ‘refused to talk about her sister Namrata Shirodkar and brother-in-law Mahesh Babu.’ However, she is confident that on the show, she will have nothing to hide about. “I have no secrets, and hence I wouldn’t need to be cautious or image-conscious. I will be myself and play the game wholeheartedly,” she told the publication.

It is worth noting that Namrata and Mahesh Babu have also not commented on her Bigg Boss 18 partipation yet.

In the same chat, Shilpa added that she doesn’t have an advantage on Salman even if she worked in the 1990s when he was also up and coming. “He is just a colleague to me. I have no special bond; neither is he my friend. But yes, I am hoping to get to know him better. I have followed every season and feel he is a great host. He is so fair, and I am looking forward to taking on this new journey with him,” she said.

This year, Bigg Boss 18 has a surprising mix of contestants. Shilpa will compete with Nyrra Banerji, Avinash Mishra, Vivian Dsena, Shehzada Dhami, Gunratna, Sara Arfeen Khan, Arfeen Khan, Rajat Dalal, Shrutika Arjun Raaj, Chahat Pandey, Alice Kaushik, Hema Sharma aka Viral Bhabhi, Tajinder Bagga, Chum Darang, Eisha Singh, Karanveer Mehra, and Muskan Bamnne for the trophy.

The show will be airing on Colors and streaming on JioCinema.
