The trailer for Tovino Thomas and Krithi Shetty’s film Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM) was released on August 25. This upcoming film is an intense period drama centred around the theme of generational honor. The film, directed by newcomer Jithin Laal, is scheduled to hit theatres during Onam 2024, in September. The production house has shared the YouTube link of the newly released official trailer on Instagram. It is also available in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The trailer begins with a voiceover narrating the story of a meteorite that hit the village of Haripuram centuries ago.
In this film, Tovino Thomas portrays three different characters. Set across three distinct timelines, the film deals with the themes of generational honor and promises. The film is reportedly set in parts of Northern Kerala in various timelines like 1900, 1950 and 1990.
The new trailer highlights Tovino Thomas playing Kunji Kelu, Maniyan and Ajayan. All three characters are striving to protect the most valued treasure of their land. From intriguing plotlines to intense action scenes, the trailer shows an epic conflict between Tovino’s characters and the society that challenges his actions.
In addition to Tovino, it also provides glimpses of Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi and Krithi Shetty, who portray his love interests across the different timelines.
Additionally, the trailer also confirms that the film will have a grand release on September 12, 2024, coinciding with Onam, and will be available in both 3D and 2D formats.

Fans quickly reacted to the much-awaited trailer and showered the film’s cast and makers with praise. “Krithi’s Malayalam debut movie," mentioned a fan. “Ajay’s second heist will hit this year’s Onam, I am a big fan of Tovino Thomas, this will also be a blockbuster," wrote another one.
Ajayante Randam Moshanam is a large-scale period drama, set to be a multilingual project. Apart from Tovino Thomas, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Basil Joseph, Aishwarya Rajesh, Krithi Shetty, Surabhi Lakshmi, Jagadish, Aju Varghese, Rohini, Harish Uthaman, Nisthar Sait and Pramod Shetty, among others. Jomon T. John is the cinematographer with Dhibu Ninan Thomas providing the soundtrack and original score.
