Sonia Aggarwal is currently among the most talented and top-rated actresses in the Malayalam film industry. She catapulted to fame with her acting skills and unconventional choice of films like Kaadhal Konden, Pudhupettai and others. Now, she is gearing up for her upcoming film BEHINDD directed by Ahman Raphy and written by Shija Jinu.
Saregama Malayalam unveiled the teaser of this film on April 27 which shows a lot of eerie incidents in a haunted house. Sonia, playing the role of Liya in this film and Tom (Jinu E Thomas) are horrified to the core after realising that everything is not normal in their home. The twist in the teaser comes after the death of one of their (Liya and Tom’s) family members in an accident. Now, as the teaser depicts Liya and Tom try to find the reason behind the sinister circumstances in their home. How they manage to do that forms the core theme of the film.
Social media users loved the teaser and lavished praises on its making and other aspects. Besides Sonia and Jinu, BEHINDD stars an ensemble star cast of actors Mareena, Noby Marcose, Sinoj Varghese and others.
On the personal front, Sonia Aggarwal was married to the filmmaker K Selvaraghavan in 2006 but their marriage lasted for 4 years only. Selvaraghavan then married his assistant director Gitanjali in 2011. In an exclusive interview on the Indiaglitz portal, the Pudhupettai actress opened up about her personal life stating that she admired the director’s commitment to hard work due to which she got married to him. Sonia remembered being extremely happy with Selvaraghavan in their short marriage. The actress said that she had to go through great mental anguish following her divorce.
