Television presenter, actress, model, and YouTuber Ranjini Haridas has recently revealed the shocking news that is currently garnering everyone’s attention. In a recent media interaction, actress Ranjini Haridas shared that an actor had sent her a nude picture.
The actress said that one of the famous actors had sent him a nude photo. She said that the actor shared a shirtless picture with her and asked her to send one such photo. But she answered right away that it was “the wrong window.”
Ranjini further said that the photo is not in her hand now; that’s why she did not mention the name.
She also added that even the youngest girls are sexually assaulted. Sexual exploitation is rampant under the guise of opening ceremonies and in the modelling industry.
Ranjini Haridas stated that she had also faced a similar experience during the ad shooting in Kannur; in Kerala, she also reacted strongly.
Following the release of the Hema Committee Report, the Malayalam cinema industry is experiencing turmoil.
The report highlights malpractices against women, such as sexual harassment, gender prejudice, a lack of basic amenities, and salary inequities, causing indignation throughout the country. The discoveries and following claims of sexual assault have sent shockwaves across the film industry.
At this time when most of the celebrities remained tight-lipped, Manju Warrier recently broke her silence at an event in Thamarassery, Kozhikode. She was joined by actor Tovino Thomas at the occasion.
She addressed the problem, admitting the industry’s present challenges. While addressing the occasion, the actress stated, “As we all know, the Malayalam cinema industry is now experiencing a crisis. Tovino and I are here today as superstars because of the Malayalam film business. Unfortunately, the industry is under dark clouds right now, but let’s wait for those clouds to pass and brighter days to shine through.”
On the work front, Ranjini Haridas last worked as a voice artist in the popular Malayalam film Valatty. Devan Jayakumar wrote and directed this adventure-comedy romantic film, which was produced by Vijay Babu under the banner of Friday Film House.
The film also has Roshan Mathew, Raveena Ravi, Soubin Shahir, Sunny Wayne, Indrans, Naslen K. Gafoor, and Aju Varghese all providing their voices. According to the filmmakers, Valatty is the first Indian film to include real dogs as performers rather than VFX.
