Workshop on Decentralised Waste Disposal

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Municipalities and Corporations Minister P K Kunhalikutty will inaugurate a one-day workshop being organised by the State Suchitwa Mission on ‘Decentralised Waste Disposal’ at the Thycaud Guest House on Monday.  Corporation councillors and secretaries and the state coordinators of the ‘Total Sanitation Campaign’ will take part in the workshop. The discussions would focus on developing ways to carry out waste disposal at the source apart from increasing the efficiency of existing waste disposal plants. The event forms part of the evaluation of the ‘Litter-free Kerala’ project which enters its second year.
