Workshop for teachers

CHENNAI: Everonn Technical Education India Limited (ETEIL) conducted a teachers' enhancement workshop ‘LAVA ‘(Lakshanika Viday Manjaka) from November 22 till November 25. The four-day programme was aimed at assisting the teachers in engineering colleges, and helping them tackle some of their challenges while satisfying their need for continuous learning. The programme was inaugurated by Dr S Mohan, Director, National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research (NITTTR) An MoU between Everonn Technical Education India Limited and NITTR for academic and research collaboration was also signed at the inaugural event. The LAVA workshop focused on various topics such as personal and professional stress management methods and tools, training to manage awkward situations in the work place, applying Bloom's Taxonomy at various levels of student-faculty learning, teaching, thinking, assessment and evaluation processes, Six Thinking Hat Method and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment to name a few.
