Woman cricketer alleges sexual assault by association member

Bhopal: A 19-year-old woman cricketer has alleged that she was sexually harassed by the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association Joint Secretary, Alpesh Shah on September 23.

The victim's father has complained to the MPCA saying his daughter had gone to Shah's room on September 23 and while she touched Shah's feet he tried to molest her. The cricketer then ran out of the room and complained to her father.

Shah has denied all the allegations saying he is being framed.

The MPCA is likely to respond to the allegations by Wednesday evening.
