ROURKELA: Vigilance sleuths carried out simultaneous raids at four places of a Class-III State Government employee leading to disclosure of properties owned by him to the tune of over ` 64 lakh. Sambalpur Vigilance division armed with a search warrant conducted the raids on the premises of village-level worker-cum-panchayat executive officer Trilochan Seth posted at Jhalangbira of Kuanrmunda block on Wednesday.There were allegations against him for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.Vigilance SP, Sambalpur, on Wednesday evening said that the raids covered his rented residence at Jagda, his office, paternal house at Jharsuguda and his elder brother’s residence at Bargaon block of Sundargarh district. Assets valued at ` 64 lakh were seized during the raids. The movable properties included a car, two SUVs, a tractor and a motorcycle, gold and silver ornaments, insurance policies of around ` 9.30 lakh.His fixed assets, including building and plot, were estimated to be over ` 26 lakh.
