UPA govt has lost credibility: Gopinath Munde
Munde also lashed out at the Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra, saying mafia were controlling it.

Nagpur: The UPA government at the Centre has already lost its credibility and is losing the allies now, senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde on Monday said.

"Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has admitted error of judgement and accepted responsibility for the appointment of CVC PJ Thomas, after consistently justifying the appointment (earlier)... that shows the UPA government in a very poor light," Munde told reporters here.

The UPA government had earlier also erred in 2G spectrum case and after adamant posturing it finally gave in to set up JPC. It had lost all credibility and is now losing its allies, such as DMK, he said.

Munde also lashed out at the Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra, saying mafia were controlling it.

"I have never seen such an incompetent and corrupt government where sand, kerosene and milk mafia call the shots.

There is no good governance," he said.

The BJP would take out a morcha to Vidhan Sabha to highlight government's wrongdoings on March 14.

On the prospect of Republican Party of India (Ramdas Athawale faction) joining hands with Shiv Sena after the party distanced itself from Congress and NCP, Munde said dalits had been taken for granted by the ruling Congress-NCP and now they had realised this. It would indeed help Sena-BJP, he said.
