The newly appointed CEO of the Central Board is concerned about the vulgar and violent content in films.
New Delhi: The newly appointed CEO of the Censor Board, Rakesh Kumar, is under attack from Twitter users for his remarks on the content of Bollywood films. In an interview given to Mumbai Mirror, Rakesh Kuamr questioned the content of films such as 'Agneepath', 'Dedh Ishqiya', 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Shuddh Desi Romance'. In the interview, he went on to say that he had to leave 'Agneepath' mid-way because the content was 'too gory'. Censor Board is now known as the Central Board of Film Certification.
