New Delhi: Twitter has added a new WhatsApp button in its new version of the Android app. The WhatsApp button that appears within in a tweet as a sharing option now lets users easily share tweets with people on WhatsApp.
Earlier users would go to the share button and select the WhatsApp icon from the long list of sharing options to share tweets with people on the messaging app, but the addition of the "Share to WhatsApp" button in tweets itself reduces the number of steps for users while sharing a tweet on WhatsApp.
However, the feature is available to users using the version 5.15.0 of the Twitter mobile app. You can go to the app and tap Settings to check the version of your Twitter mobile app. If you are one of those yet to get the new version, you are suggested to update the app.
