New York: 'Twilight' star Taylor Lautner has joined the cast of a reading of 'Boogie Nights' as the hapless porn star that Mark Wahlberg made famous in the 1997 movie.
Lautner, 21, will play Wahlberg's character Dirk Diggler for an event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, reported the New York Daily News.
'Arrested Development' star Mae Whitman will play Heather Graham's Rollergirl, while 'Archer' actress Judy Greer will play Amber Waves, the role originally held by Julianne Moore.
Director Jason Reitman, who announced the casting on his Twitter page, will host the event.
It won't be the first time he has brought 'Boogie Nights' to the stage. In a live reading at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, Reitman selected Jesse Eisenberg to play Diggler and Olivia Wilde as Amber Waves.
