TJAC urged to call off stir

HYDERABAD: Expressing concern over the sufferings of people due to the ongoing Sakala Janula Samme, revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy on Friday appealed to the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TJAC) to call off its stir. Otherwise, it should change the course of the T movement to mitigate the sufferings of people.In fact, the Central government was seized of the Telangana issue and an acceptable decision would be taken by it soon, he said.Talking to newsmen at the Secretariat, the minister said the government was with an open mind to resolve issues which are under its purview. It was not proper on the part of the TJAC to make people, particularly farmers and students, suffer due to the strike, he said.
