A student was injured after he was allegedly beaten up by some of his seniors at a government college in Bhilwara for not following their instructions. The victim, Dhanraj (17), has been admitted to a government hospital, police said.
Dhanraj told police that three of his seniors beat him up for not following their instructions. The accused -- Sitaram Khateek, Jamnesh Chandel and Vikas Dayma -- are on the run, police added.
The incident irked locals and his relatives, who gathered outside the hospital demanding action against the accused. Additional policemen have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
