Tourism Minister, AP Anilkumar would present the award at a function to be held on August 26.
Actor Sreenivasan has been selected for the Bharat Balan K Nair film award-2012, for his outstanding contribution to Malayalam film industry. The award has been instituted by STV Channel, Shoranur.
STV chairman told reporters here that "Tourism Minister AP Anilkumar would present the award at a function to be held at Shoranur Blue Diamond Auditorium, on August 26".
The channel will also organise Bharath Balan K Nair short film fest from August 24 to 26. The short film fest includes competition in five categories- documentary, short-films, home cinema and others.
