Twitter will now let users share photos on the service by including an image in their text messages.
New Delhi: Twitter goes a step ahead in text messaging, where the microblog's roots lie. Twitter will now let users share photos on the service by including an image in their text messages.
"It’s simple: just enter the text of your Tweet as you normally would, attach a photo to the message and send to Twitter," said the company in a blog post.
Currently, this feature is supported by a few carriers - AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Cellular South in the US; Vodafone, O2 and Orange in the UK; Vodafone Italy; Rogers Communications in Canada; VIVA Bahrain; and, TIM Brazil.
Twitter says, it will continue to tie up with more carriers to enable more users to use the feature.
