The festive season is here folks, and whether you celebrate Diwali, Christmas or are just planning to part the night away on New year's eve, you need to look your best.
Designer Raakesh Agarvwal gives you three fab looks for the season, all designed around...the 6-inch heel, which he aptly calls, 'Sex on the Heel'!
"Clothes should express what you are feeling at any given point of time. So during the festive season, go all out with bright colours. After all, it is a time of rejoicing and celebration," he says.
DIWALI HOSTESS
This is a time when you will want to show off your newly decorated or painted home, and play the gracious hostess (that you are). So, bring on the oomph!
You don't really have to worry about what you are wearing but just know where to draw the line.
For example, this bright orange kaftan (right in the picture) is perfect for the hostess. The model is wearing a bikini inside, but you can wear a jersey jumpsuit underneath. Or you can even wear a light jersey inner for the top and match it with a lycra churidaar to give it an Indian touch.
Accessories? Go for lots of bling. Take out your choicest diamonds or chunky precious stone earrings. And of course, the 6-inch heels.Tip: Don't match the colours. That is passe. Wear accessories that bring out the colour of your clothes, or make a statement by themselves. For example, if you are hosting a dinner party (not a puja), then you can wear leather kadas. And not just one, wear a whole bunch to give it a wild spin.

Check out the ivory baloon dress or the feature dress (above). If you don't want to wear these dresses by themselves, you can match it with a colourful lycra churidaar and it will double up as a kurta!
