Probe begins on GTRE director in parlour case

BANGALORE: The Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) has initiated a probe into the incident involving Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) Director T Mohan Rao, who was arrested during a raid on a massage parlour recently for allegedly running a prostitution racket. The DRDO's Vigilance Director Brigadier Ajay Gupta would now carry forward the investigation into his conduct to establish the truth.It has been stated that 'action' would be taken against Rao, 'if proven guilty.'Rao is also the head of the Aeronautical Society of India (Karnataka Chapter). Since the arrest, Rao has maintained that he was wrongfully arrested as he was at the venue while inquiring about an appointment for his wife. He was granted bail the very next day.
