Praveena gets bail in defamation case

KOCHI: The Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate Court I has granted bail to actor Praveena in a defamation case filed against her by a city-based fitness centre. The owner of Slimfx Speciality Centre in Panampilly Nagar filed the case against Praveena for allegedly making defamatory statements against the centre and its owner Soumini Vidyasagar. Praveena had filed a cheating case against the fitness centre. She contended that the fitness centre cheated her by giving false promises regarding weight loss.
