Posters decrying Chief Minister Oommen Chandy as one who is foiling repeated attempts to revamp the state Congress unit with a mindset that it is ‘floods after him,’ and also casting him as ‘communal’ for giving directions to slap cases against nurses who went on a strike at a Kothamangalam hospital recently appeared in various parts of Thiruvananthapuram city on Wednesday.
A few of the posters were pasted on the compound wall of the KPCC headquarters, Indira Bhavan, also. Incidentally, there was no credit line of those behind the act, fuelling immediate suspicion that it was the fallout of factional feud in the Congress. However, the posters were removed within a few hours of its appearance. On coming to know about the posters in front of Indira Bhavan, KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala, who was away in New Delhi, directed his office to file a complaint with the Museum police station immediately.
