Ahmedabad: Three persons have been killed in police firing in Radhanpur town of Patan district of Gujarat during a demolition drive.
The incident took place when a team of police and district administration officials reached a kabristan (Muslim burial ground) where rain water had filled.
Even as they were attempting to break a wall of the burial ground to let water out, a mob attacked them and resorted to heavy stone pelting.
Police had to open fire to control the situation in which three persons were killed.
