KOCHI: The Admissions Supervisory Committee for Professional Colleges has directed self-financing colleges and institutions in the state to submit the admission procedure followed by them for 2012-13, before the committee for its consideration.The committee, headed by Justice P A Mohammed, pointed out that as per a High Court order, the managements should obtain approval from the Admissions Supervisory Committee during each phase of admission.Self-financing institutions which run courses, including MBBS, medical PG, BDS, MDS, Ayurveda, BPharm, MPharm, DPharm, BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, MCA, MBA, BEd, MEd, Post-basic BSc Nursing, BSc MLT, BPT, MPT, BASLP, MASLP, Engineering (BTech) and MTech should soon submit complete details on the admission procedure of the courses, along with six copies of the draft prospectus, before the panel.In a press release issued in Kochi,the committee pointed out that it is the second time that such a direction is being issued. Even after the committee issued the direction in January 2012, most self-financing colleges and institutions have not submitted the prospectus.
