BHUBANESWAR: Oriya boy Aurosish Mishra has bagged the prestigious Prime Minister of India Gold Medal for topping the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. A Computer Science student, he headed the chart of the IIT in Dual Degree (B Tech and M Tech) by securing a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 9.63. Mishra, a rank-holder in Plus Two Science Examination in 2006, did projects on ‘Wireless Vertex Guards’ and ‘Graph Colourings and Homomophisms’ from ETH, Zurich, and Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, respectively. Son of senior OAS officer Sanjib Kumar Mishra, Aurosish has taken up PhD at University of Cornell.
