New Delhi: Beijing Olympics organisers refuted claims on Monday that 10 workers had died in construction of the main National Stadium – dubbed the 'Bird's Nest' – for the upcoming games.

The Times of London reported authorities had tried to cover up the accidental deaths.

Games organisers have also declared themselves unaware of any boycott of the opening ceremony by Britain's Prince Charles in support of the exiled Tibetan leader Dalai Lama.

Construction work on the 91,000-capacity stadium is due to be completed by April.

Organisers are confident the venue will be fully ready to host the opening ceremony on the 8th of August.
