THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Coming down heavily on Muslim League, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday questioned the secular credentials of the League. He told a news conference here that Muslim League had changed a lot and it had lost its character after coming to power. ‘’The Muslim League prior to 2011 and Muslim League of today is not the same. It has lost its sense of balance after coming to power’’ he said. He said Kunhalikutty could not change the communal character of the Muslim League by writing a long article in newspapers. The League is publicly involved in communal activities, he said. The Muslim League had given up its political character and acting as a real communal organisation. Under the cover of places of worship, the League was engaged in huge fund mobilisation, Pinarayi said.
