Motorola to launch its next smartphone in India on May 13

New Delhi: After LG, Motorola has also sent out press invitations to its event in May. The event will take place on May 13; it will be a global launch and the country has an event scheduled in New Delhi, India on the same day. The company says it will introduce its next smartphone at the event.

The invite says, "Connect more people to the world's information and each other, and they can do great things." Another line from the invite reads, "Made to last, Priced for all," which suggests that the upcoming Motorola phone will be an affordable device.

It will be the first smartphone for Motorola under the stewardship of Lenovo. Google early this year sold Motorola's smartphone business to Lenovo for $2.9 billion.

There is no information on its price, but it is expected to be a mid-range device.
