NELLORE: A money lender, Y Koteswara Rao (35) of Housing Board area in the city was found murdered near Amancharla village in Nellore rural mandal late on Monday night. According to Nellore rural DSP Ravikumar, the deceased working as a doorman in Bollineni Hospitals here,gave a loan of Rs 1 lakh to one Sivakumar of Housing board area sometime ago.Sivakumar developed a grudge against Koteswara Rao when he demanded repayment of loan.Sivakumar along with four of his friends went to Koteswara Rao's house around 11 p.m on Monday and took him in an auto on the pretext of paying the loan in a city lodge.But, they took him to Amancharla village and allegedly strangled him with a nylon rope, the DSP said. Later, they took the body in an auto to burn it.Two home guards on night duty, suspected foul play on seeing the auto going on a breakneck-speed at midnight, chased it on a motorcycle and found the body in the auto. However, the accused managed to escape.
