HYDERABAD: The fate of the three women, who are suspected to have been buried alive under garbage in the Jawahar Nagar dumping yard, remains a mystery with municipal and police authorities failing to trace the bodies from mounds of garbage.
Even as municipal authorities are digging out heaps of garbage to trace the missing women, the mounds of garbage continued to slide down from the top making the rescue operation difficult. Even as the rescue operation entered second day, whereabouts of the three women, Shantamma, Andalu and Ankamma of Yellareddyguda remains a mystery. "No one saw them coming under heaps of garbage. Proclainers are being used to dig out mounds of garbage but so far we have not been able to trace the women," Alwal police inspector J Pushpan Kumar said. Officials said it is almost impossible to trace out the women, if they got buried under the garbage, as there is no evidence where the women went missing.
