WARANGAL: An unidentified CRPF constable allegedly raped a deaf and dumb minor girl following which the victim is pregnant for seven months.The incident came to light on Saturday with the victim suffering in mute agony at Sai Vikas School for Mentally Retarded near the CRPF camp in Bheemaram in the district headquarters.The school was being run for the last seven years by one Sitayamma. It was learnt that for the last 7-8 months one CRPF constable had repeatedly raped the 12-year-old victim. Though the school management knew about the pregnancy of the girl, they kept it a secret.But it came to light on Saturday through a TV news channel.Soon district collector Rahul Bojja ordered SP Rajesh Kumar to inquire into the issue. There are allegations that Sitayamma kept reality under cover. Following instructions from the district collector, Sitayamma was taken into custody. Earlier, joint collector Vakati Karuna enquired Sitayamma about the facts and expressed displeasure for hiding the truth.
