BANGALORE: A 35-year-old man was killed when an unidentified vehicle hit him in Electronic City traffic police limits on Tuesday night.The deceased has been identified as Byregowda, a native of Chikkamagalur. A vehicle hit him near Naganathapura cross on Hosur Main Road when he was crossing the road. Police said he was working as a security guard with a private firm on Hosur Road.Police have registered a case and are investigating.Unidentified Man’s Body FoundThe body of a 40-year-old unidentified person was found abandoned near near a bar in Jnanabharathi police limits on Wednesday morning.The body was found near a bar on the Ring Road and a bag next to it. The bag had a chit with the name Chandra Nayaka. Police suspect that the name of the deceased is Chandra Nayaka based on the chit. Details about his address and profession are yet to be ascertained, police said.There are no external injuries on the body apart from the froth in his mouth. A man who saw the body informed police about this and it appears that he consumed alcohol. The body has been shifted to Victoria Hospital for postmortem and the report will throw light on the cause of the death, the police added.Police have registered a case and are investigating.
